The physical environment of the Kindergarten is welcoming and bright in order to stimulate the children’s creativity and learning. Two rooms accommodate children between 3 and 5 years, whilst a central ‘pjazza’ provides the perfect setting for messy activities as well as an opportunity for all the children to meet and play together.

The kindergarten programme is largely based on the Vista Coop’s Ethos and on the National Curriculum Framework and aims to enhance the holistic development of all the children; their intellectual, social, physical, emotional and moral development.

Cookery is a weekly activity. Here children learn about healthy choices for life as well as basic scientific principles, through measurement, handling of various ingredients and so on.

Outdoor play is an essential daily activity, come rain or shine, that is a time for letting off energy as well as an opportunity for learning through observation, even of our rabbits and chickens, building and construction and water-play.
